The science behind it

The why

Strength training is finally getting the attention it deserves - especially for women. We now know that building muscle is one of the most powerful tools for longevity, metabolic health, hormone balance, bone density, confidence, and quality of life at every age.

Muscle lost per decade after 30 without training

Lower fracture risk with consistent strength work

Improved insulin sensitivity

Documented with resistance training

The problem

Most gyms and programs were built around male bodies - leaving many women intimidated, underserved, and unsure how to lift safely.

What science shows

Female physiology responds differently across the menstrual cycle, perimenopause, menopause, and beyond.

What changes everything

When women train in ways that support their biology, strength becomes safer, more effective - and more sustainable.

The GLP-1 Factor

Some weight-loss medications can lead to muscle loss. Strength training helps protect your muscle, your metabolism, and your long-term health.

Why strength matters:

Preserves muscle & metabolic health
Improves bone density & reduces fracture risk
Supports energy, insulin sensitivity & body composition
Boosts mood, confidence & mental resilience

Found Strength exists to translate this science into something real, practical, and empowering.

"Women are not small men. We are physiologically different - and when we train accordingly, everything changes."

— Dr. Stacy Sims, Exercise Physiologist
